SASSIN was established in 1993. Its headquarters are located in Shanghai, China. It has over 1,500 employees, two wholly owned manufacturing facilities, and three joint venture factories. The low-voltage electrical products designed and manufactured by SASSIN are exported to over 120 countries worldwide.

In response to the global trend toward intelligent power systems, SASSIN has developed the smart electrical devices and Smart Power Management System (SPMS) to protect the safety of life and property, enabling easy and remote power management anytime and anywhere, and improving energy efficiency. To support rapid product development, SASSIN has established a Test Center that includes a 10kA Short-Circuit Breaking Laboratory. The Test Center has been certified by CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment).
